Hello, friends! I’m Ali, and you’ve reached my food blog, Milk & Cereal. Thanks for visiting!

Healthy living is something I strive for– I love finding new and exciting ways to make healthy dishes. HOWEVER, I do enjoy indulging in tasty treats now and then, so whether you’re looking for a nutritious, guilt-free recipe or something to treat yourself, you’ve come to the right place!

I have an obsession with cereal. If it was enough to sustain my body, there are many days when I would eat cereal for every meal. Well, maybe I do that sometimes anyway… If the husband is out of town, and there’s no one to cook for, why not eat cereal? 😉

(I think the cereal obsession began at an early age…)

I live in Fargo, North Dakota, with my wonderful husband, Rob.

Aside from making food, my favorite things include Jesus, spending my time with family and friends, running, lightning storms, having game nights, flying kites, Disney movies, having picnics, and taking leisurely bike rides.

After studying Spanish education for a couple years, I changed the plan and finished college with a Liberal Arts degree. What will I do with that degree? Whatever God leads me to do. 🙂

This top left photo is a little “family photo” from our honeymoon– Us with R2D2 and Chewbacca at LegoLand! If you’ve never been to LegoLand, you should probably check it out.

Ever since watching the documentary “Forks Over Knives,” Rob and I have made a transition into a more plant-based diet. If you’re interested in health and nutrition, I would highly recommend watching this documentary; it was very eye-opening. We haven’t cut out animal products completely, but we’ve certainly cut back. But like I said, I still enjoy those guilty foods now and then– I don’t think I could ever give up cake, and I get a burger temptation once in a while. You know that cereal infatuation I have though? I now eat my cereal with almond milk, and I feel pretty good about it. 😀

Glad to hear there is someone else addicted to cereal out there like me, haha.
Think there’s a rehab for us?
